Demon electric boat motors are among the best on the market in the budget motor segment. In terms of cruising speed, they are in no way inferior to brand-name electric motors. The motor's carbon brush holders are metal, so there will never be problems with them getting stuck; motors with plastic carbon brush holders have issues—during long periods of sailing, the brushes overheat and burn into their frame, stop moving, and the motor stops working. The impeller shaft exiting the motor is mounted with a bearing and an oil seal. Other motors often only have a bushing coated with silicone. The motors have a telescopic control handle which you use to adjust your cruising speed. We have been selling these motors for five years.
